Dracaena deremensis “Janet Craig” is often known as an indoor plant, but mine has been outdoors for many years, in light shade. Actually, it is in the same family of plants as my much-beloved dragon tree (aka Dracaeno draco or drago tree).
In the process of reorganizing my front yard garden areas, for the time being, I’ve decide to relocate the Dracaena deremensis “Janet Craig” to be right next to my young dragon tree. Now THAT’S family togetherness! Compare and contrast!
HOW TO: Because the top of my Dracaena deremensis “Janet Craig” was touching the eaves under my roof line, I lopped off the top of the plant. I placed this cutting in its own container and watered it, in an effort to propagate it. I can’t wait for this to become its own mature plant!
