I’m an amateur gardener. I’ll be writing about my experiences with selecting plants, what has and has not worked for me in garden maintenance, and other gardening-related experiences.

My hope is to create a friendly, welcoming blog space where folks can find useful gardening-related information and provide comments and ask questions as well.

Thank you for visiting my blog!

  2. YourGardenShow.com invites you to tune in for the Bee-a-thon 2011 Encore broadcast, a free online “town hall” event to shed light on the plight of our disappearing bee populations.

The event brings together top bee experts in science, activism, conservation, arts and education, on Sunday Nov. 13th, from 9 am to 9 pm US-Pacific Time (12noon-midnight US EST). Tune in for 12 minutes or 12 hours – from your living room, garden or mobile devices – chat live with the community and discover inspiring ways to take action.

The Bee-a-thon 2011 Encore is hosted by YourGardenShow.com, the social network for gardeners, in partnership with The Great Sunflower Project, a Citizen Science campaign to count bees, as part of the larger global mission to support pollinator culture, food security and biodiversity.

  3. okay…so I found the other place to reply. Just delete the one above.

You know what would be helpful? To know where you are. Your location affects so much…your weather, your soil, your growing season, etc.

If you could post that on your about page, it would be great to know!
