Flower Buds: Amaryllis Hippeastrum (Minerva)

Take it from the top! That’s the vantage point I took when capturing this lovely image. It’s been just a handful of days when it looked like flower buds were to come out.IMG_2931  The bud case breached, several flowers will be coming and I am looking forward to their debut!

This amaryllis (and two others) are enjoying the sweet life in my bathroom, bathing in the sunlight, right next to the window.

When the flowers bloom, I will move the plants to a shadier spot in the house to prevent the flowers from withering.

On these cool (and occasionally wet) winter days, I am especially grateful to have a modest but cherished indoor garden!
