Mowing the Lawn on An Autumn Evening

Nothing quite like mowing the lawn under the shadow of evening, but illuminated by Christmas lights and motion detector lights! We’ve had light rain here over the past few daysIMG_2919, so the blades of grass were loaded with water. I had to empty the mulch bag a few more times because the weight of the grass clippings was slowing me down a bit. But I am grateful for the rain because it’s helped me to conserve water for the week – sprinklers turned off!

During this time of year, I usually mow my lawn once every two weeks. It’s a nice lawn maintenance schedule to have before the once-weekly schedule of spring and summer beckons!
