Return of My Lawn Mower!

After a 10-year hiatus, prompted by a back injury, I will be mowing my lawn once more! In the interim, I have had various gardeners. The last one I dismissed because the workers kept damaging the fairly new stucco I had applied during my 2008 home remodel. But, in the back of my mind, I was never comfortable with the idea of getting rid of my mower.

Today, I am happy to report, I got my lawn mower back from a local small business. They cleaned it up and tuned it up. I just put in the gas. I will be buying a new air filter and bottle of engine oil shortly. I can’t wait to try it out this weekend!

I have other garden equipment as well: string trimmer for edging and weed removal, hedge trimmer, pruning shears, and more, and I have used all of them over the years.  I simply enjoy taking care of my yard and garden myself. I will start out slowly, probably with just mowing the lawn and trimming the bushes. What’s old is new again!
