Succulents: Purple Aeoniums Bursting!

Take THAT, Old Man Winter! My two purple aeoniums are thriving in the sun. Indeed, each of my two aeoniums is producing multiple rosettes. I am hopeful that at least one of my plants will produce a spike of yellow flowers this season. Click on these images to get a better view of the details of this most beautiful succulent!

These two plants actually started off in containers and were not as dramatic as they are now. Once in the ground, they have really thrived. Happy holidays, everyone!
