Purple Aeonium in Flower!

Check out my purple aeonium – it’s in flower! This plant was originally in a container, and had been for many years, but was planted in the ground not too long ago in my new succulent garden. Apparently, it has found a happy home and is making a point to express itself! While in the container, it looked more like a flower with a long, bare stalk. Now, it’s looking more like a spire.

Click on the photo to get a better view of the intense color of the flowers. This is a perfect “in nature” example of complementary colors. Talk about Flower Power!
