Weeds: Update After Roundup Super Concentrate

I am happy to report that weeks after treating my weeds with Roundup Super Concentrate, the weeds are dead or dying. IMG_1523 As you can see in the photo below, this is the “field of gold” that I want to see after weed treatment! Click on the photo to see the detailed result.

My backyard is large, and at least half of it is bare, making it a prime location for weeds to establish themselves. Because of the large area, this product was the right one for my situation, and it was certainly the most economical (see my previous post on this subject).

The only drawback is time:  it takes up to a few weeks to see the results. I’m not in a rush since I’m still not yet decided on what to do with a portion of the bare yard. I’ll be removing the dead plant material soon and will then begin putting in the next section of my backyard project. One step at a time!

UPDATE: Here are detailed manufacturer’s instructions on how to use this product: http://www.scotts.com/smg/catalog/productTemplate.jsp?proId=prod70348&itemId=cat50096&tabs=usage
