Gardening Tools Replaced

Eventually, gardening tools need to be replaced. Today was that day for me. I purchased a new lopper, to trim some overhanging thin branches. It’s a bit of an upgrade also since the handles can extend up to 27 inches and lock in place, a bonus since I’m short!  The one I had previously was on its last legs, but I’m grateful for the many good years I got from it.

I also bought a new 100-foot gardening hose. I’ll be using it to spray my front yard but also, sigh, to wash my car! It’s my way to economize (I used to go to a drive through wash, $8 each time), but I figure I’d save some money and get a nice workout. Benefits!

SHOPPING TIP: Look for discounted prices on garden tools during the spring. I saved a bit today for that reason.
