Radiant Perfume Rose

Before planting my fruit tree saplings, I will be planting a bare root rose: the Radiant Perfume rose. No flowers on it, yet (!), but it has evidence of new, healthy green sprouts. This hybrid tea is supposed to be very fragrant and yellow, with long stems.

Until last year, I’ve always left my rose flowers on the plant, no cutting, as I prefer to have beautiful roses dotting my garden. But I decided to cut a few during the end of the year holidays and I was very pleased to have such beauty in my home. The Radiant Perfume rose is ideal for this. Fragrance, beauty, and suited for cutting – this rose is a winner!

  1. I used to grow roses, and took them out and replaced with hibiscus, but I think that fragrance is the most important thing for me…I enjoyed those roses BEST! My brother got all my rose bushes, and he has kept them going for the last 5 years since I gave them to him! They are just wonderful plants…so many times I am tempted to do another rose garden!!!

    • Roses are truly special. I, too, enjoy the varieties with fragrance. If you ever change your mind about roses, they have thorns, many succulents have needles. A few degrees of separation…? LOL 😉
