Roses: Blue Moon and Christian Dior

What a lovely way to brighten up a winter day! Two of my more recent rose acquisitions, rescued from the bargain bin: (1) Blue Moon, a gorgeous mauve-colored hybrid tea, and (2) Christiimg_1466an Dior, aimg_1465 stunning red hybrid tea. I’d planted them several months ago, with high hopes that they would “take.” I’m so happy to debut them! The flowers are very large, and it’s a rare opportunity to use the word, “mauve”! Several of my other roses are getting ready to bust out and flower – more photos to come!

  1. Oh what a great day, to find such beauties in the bargain bin!!! I love the Blue Moon one! There is just something about a purple colored rose! It must smell devine!!!
